Parade March and March song
In October 1964 the Military Police celebrated its 150th Anniversary with a big parade on the Maliebaan in the town of Utrecht in attendance of its patron Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix. All different departments were represented, the Drum Corps marched in front and the Royal Military Band played near the saluting base. A few days before during the annual Military Police day at the training centre the first performance of the "March Song of the Military Police" took place by the Drum Corps together with a male choir on the steps of the officer's mess. Composed by the male choir chairman Captain Bosch and Cavalry Bandmaster Chief Warrant Officer Reijnhoudt, it has been performed very frequently since.
